General allegations
Although Plasma technology compared to Laser and Water Jet is rather limited, it can still be used effectively in industrial design. Benefit is as great as the scope of application.
This site aims to promote the application of plasma technology in the design of products, construction and other branches in metal industry.
My many years of experience in application of this technology in production, as well as work on various external projects, suggests that although it is known to us, this technology, although it has to offer a new quality in production, especially in terms of cost-effectiveness in utilizing the material, however, is bypassed.

Creating ornaments
Creation of plasma ornaments is one of the possibilities for decoration when designing a metal product. In practice, I have used following types of ornaments:
-
Ornament in the plane
-
Ornament in two parallel plains (two-parts)
-
Ornament in three parallel plains (three-parts)
Ornament in plane
Ornaments in plane are actually the creation of an ornamented design of the material itself from the element, by subtracting a part of the material from it. Care should be taken that the design itself does not cause distortion of the material depending on the thickness of the material and the distance of the individual patterns as a whole. However, it should be borne in mind that this is a thermal procedure that exposes the material at high temperatures, and that steel responds accordingly to the stressing of the material due to temperature load which can result in a false curvature of the element being processed.

Ornament in two parallel planes
An ornament in two parallel planes is actually a combination of the ornament-pattern of the material as a background or only full material, and an ornament as a separate element that is placed above the ornament-pattern or background material. With this combination, a spatial effect of the ornament is achieved.
When forming this type of ornaments, the way of their merging with each other is devised, so that the welding is invisible (hidden) if we decide on such a merger procedure.

Ornament in three parallel plains
Ornament in three parallel plains represents the upgrade of the spatial into two with another ornament over the existing spatial, thus achieving a richer spatial impression of the design.
When forming this type of ornaments, if we decide to join them with welding, the joints of all elements of the ornament should be invisible (hidden).

Plasma in comprehensive industrial production
The plasma has a wide range of uses in the metal industry. Basically, it can be used to give the shape of the elements either in a final or flat pattern form, which is ready for further processing to the final form. Most often I use this technology in metal constructions, production of boilers, hot air generators, stoves, prototype products at the request of an investor, design in construction and architecture, and so on.
Its importance is shown when an element of specific materials should be formed, which it may or may not be desirable to produce on another machine for further use in the assembly.
Such materials would be: Hardox, Weldox, Inox, Aluminum, Slabs-corrugated and etc.
The first two are wear-resistant materials, rigid on bending, aluminum is soft, the sheet metal is profiled on one side, so the usual choice, such as a hydraulic cutting press, can not be applied.
Below is a brief overview of the plasma application on my side in production.
Application of plasma in metal constructions

In construction of metal structures, the plasma is used in the preparation of anchor plates, joints, mounting plates for screw and bolt joints, bearings on main supports, torsion plates, and similar.
It is this application that provides a different approach to the realization. Mainly, the production time is reduced, the larger parts are finalized in a hall, small expenses and a short time for installation on the field. And apart from the quality of assembly, a new element is added: Modern design. Although many of the assemblies are not visible after the completion of the facility, a good period of time is evident what is created and it is an opportunity to promote your approach to the realization of an object that is in itself an advertisement.

Plate elements are cut on еplasma and assembled. This kind of bearing with appropriate geometry previously analyzed, provides flexibility of the metal construction and enables correct redistribution of stresses.

Application of plasma in other projects
Plasma can also be successfully used for other constructive specific projects where the elements have specific forms. In terms of their production, most commonly they are cut into flat pattern shapes of sheet metal, with openings, strips, etc., and elements that after cutting are ready for further installation . In certain situations, all elements for a product can be produced by cutting on plasma machine. With this, other cutting machines remain to be engaged for something else
